Log billable time and draft invoices from Claude or ChatGPT

You already talk to an AI assistant all day. With a connector, “log 45 minutes for Northwind” becomes a time entry, and “draft my October invoices” becomes drafts waiting for your review.

What a connector is

Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity can connect to outside apps through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). A connector gives the assistant a short list of actions it may take in that app — nothing more. The assistant decides when to use them based on what you ask.

What you can ask

You sayWhat happens
“Log 45 minutes for Northwind — call about the Q3 dashboard.”A time entry at Northwind’s rate, dated today.
“What’s unbilled this month?”Hours and value per client, recurring charges, retainer hours used.
“Draft my October invoices.”One draft per client from unbilled work and recurring charges, with links to review.
“Which invoices are overdue?”Open balances and days overdue.
“Acme paid invoice 038 by ACH today.”A payment recorded; the invoice is marked paid when the balance hits zero.
“Import this spreadsheet of my hours from Toggl.”A preview first — entries, hours, new clients, rows it can’t read — then the import when you say yes. Older time is kept as history, never invoiced twice.

Why sending stays manual

An invoice is a message to a client with your name on it. In Feewright, the assistant can log, edit and draft — but approving and sending always takes a tap in the app. You get the speed of asking and keep the final say on anything a client sees.

Set it up in two minutes

  1. Copy the connector address: https://mcp.feewright.com/mcp
  2. Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the address, then Connect.
  3. ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode → Create, paste the address and choose OAuth.
  4. Perplexity: Settings → Connectors → add a custom connector with the address.
  5. Sign in to Feewright when asked and tap Allow.
  6. Ask: “List my Feewright clients.” If you see them, you’re connected.

Custom connectors depend on your plan in each AI app, and menu names change — look for “Connectors”.

Privacy

Feewright doesn’t run AI and doesn’t send your data to a model on its own. Your assistant only sees the results of the actions it calls, under your account in that app. You sign in and approve the connection in Feewright, and you can disconnect it any time in More → Connect your AI to cut off access instantly.
